1. Who and what these terms cover
These terms set out the rules for using the EasyTap app (called Stuknij in Polish) — a keyboard for iPhone and iPad — and this website. The app and the website are made by Michał Stankiewicz (“the developer”), contact: contact@stankiewiczm.eu.
By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the app.
2. License
The developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s usage rules.
The app is licensed, not sold. For anything these terms do not cover, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
You may not:
- copy, resell, rent or distribute the app;
- decompile or reverse-engineer it, except to the extent the law allows;
- circumvent its purchase or security mechanisms;
- use the app unlawfully.
3. Free trial, subscription and lifetime purchase
Downloading the app from the App Store is free, but using the keyboard requires a license: a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The options on offer, their prices and their billing periods are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
- Free trial. The individual subscription starts with a free trial for people subscribing for the first time. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription.
- Subscription. A subscription renews automatically for another period, at the price in force on the renewal date, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You manage and cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. After cancelling, the license keeps working until the end of the period already paid for.
- Family subscription. A family subscription can be used by the members of your Apple Family Sharing group.
- Lifetime purchase. A one-time payment gives your Apple Account a license with no time limit. This purchase is not covered by Family Sharing.
When a license expires, or a trial ends without a purchase, the keyboard stops typing and shows a message saying so. Your settings and data stay on the device, and the keyboard works again once a license is renewed or bought. You can restore a license on another device signed in to the same Apple Account.
While the app is being tested, before it goes on sale, using it is free.
Payments are handled by Apple, and the Apple Media Services terms apply to purchases. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. You will be told in advance about a change to a subscription’s price, under the App Store’s rules.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory law, including your rights where digital content does not conform to the contract.
4. Your content and data
What you type stays yours. The keyboard passes no content or data to the developer. The Privacy policy has the details.
The app’s data is kept on your device. The developer has no copy of it and cannot restore it — deleting the app or clearing its memory removes it for good.
5. How the keyboard works
Autocorrect, word suggestions, quick phrases and dictation change or insert text automatically and can get it wrong. What you send or save is your responsibility — check your text before sending it, especially when it matters.
Some features depend on iOS and on your settings, for example Full Access or the dictation pack for a language. The developer may change, add and remove features of the app.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its name, its icon and the content of this website belong to the developer or are used under license. These terms give you no rights beyond the license described in section 2.
7. Liability
The developer takes care to make the app work properly, but provides it as it is, with no guarantee that it will run without interruption or error.
To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect damage or for loss of data resulting from using the app or from being unable to use it. This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally, or to liability towards consumers that cannot be excluded or limited.
8. Support and complaints
Send questions, bug reports and complaints to contact@stankiewiczm.eu. The developer will reply as soon as possible, and within 14 days at the latest.
The developer, not Apple, is responsible for the app and its support.
9. The website
The content of this website is for information. The developer may change it at any time.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may change, for example when the app or the law changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. Changes do not affect rights acquired before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory law of that country.
